Brilliant Baprons
Over the weekend I swung down to our local Spotlight in Moreyfield and it was GREAT!!!
I managed to show a huge level of self control and thriftiness (more on this at a later date) but felt like I completely robbed them when I walked out. I got all of the below for less than $30 thanks to Spotlights discounts and vouchers for people in their VIP Club
That is 3 metres of fabric, 1 metre of toweling, thread and a Pattern for a super cute dress (plus a get creative magazine with a $10 discount voucher).
Next I undertook my project for the weekend from this tutorial craftinessisnotoptional. for the very cool 'Bapron' Jess has come up with.
I found this tutorial super easy to follow and was absolutely stoked with the result. Im not quiet sure how many bibs babies require but I am sure many a night will be spent working with different colour combinations to get a wee stock pile ready.
I am feeling the love for baby items at the moment
- They are little so come together quickly
- The patterns and fabrics you can use for baby stuff are super cute
- I am crazy clucky at the moment, all I see is babies everywhere. (We are getting set up to start a family soon but not quiet yet)

I started our knitting and sewing baby items too - you are exactly right, they are quick (and generally easy) and you can see results almost instantly! Good for inspiration / to get back in the creative game!!
